2005 Delara Pinot Noir

2005 Delara Pinot Noir

Delara is a Persian word that translates as captures one's heart, which of course is always our goal.

2005 Vintage Tasting Notes:
Delara's brilliant dark ruby color is a backdrop for aromas of red raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and rose petals with a hint of soy sauce and light mocha. Elegant layers of dark chocolate, black cherries, and plums are all balanced by smooth, round fine-grained tannins for a soft lingering finish.

Other Notes
The Momtazis believe in holding vintages until the wine is fully evolved, rather than releasing chronologically. Each vintage is unique and should mature on its own timeline.
